How to store Mushrooms
Historically, mushrooms have been thought to hold medicinal value in traditional Chinese medicine. They have been studied in modern medical research since the 1960s, where most studies use extracts, rather than whole mushrooms.
Mushrooms are best stored in brown paper bags in the refrigerator and actually unwashed. Preferably on the lowest shelf.
Alternatively use a bag made out of material or a clean tea towel to wrap them up in.
